“Ask Portuguese politicians who they are these days and you will get a sharp and predictable reply: “Not Greek!” Ask a Spaniard or an Italian and they’ll say they are neither Greek nor Portuguese. A German will say he’s a German, a French might answer he’s a German too. And a British prime minister may repeat that he’s not sure if he’s a European.(Well, these days, who is?)”

Very inteligence this Mr Peter Warrior…
A desproporção é enorme… 🙂
But my dear Lady nobody in this country is even British anymore ! Scottish yes or English of course , (if you were born south of Bradford …), but not British ! . Perhaps ,but just perhaps , the Welch still think themselves as such ,but I am not so sure about that either . So Cameron feeling European ?That would be the day !

What about the Queen?
Dear Ana :
The Queen is much loved and respected by everyone but I am not so sure if that will be enough to keep the UK together ,now that the referendum on Scotland independence is looming in the horizon and with Cameron trying to intimidate the Scots ,which is probably the stupidest thing any Prime-Minister ever did until now ,and believe me there have been quite a few . Today a new poll was published that shows that public support for independence is increasing in Scotland ,so again , I dont know if being British has much future .
